Level 3 Painting

This is a specialist year where the student extends their thematic approach to several internal standards, and a huge body of highly personal works, filling 3 panels.
Students will produce a systematic body of work that integrates conventions and regenerates ideas within the painting and or printmaking folio. The external folio is worth 14 credits.
Each art subject subject qualifies as an academic subject towards level 3 subject endorsement.

Students also work on caricatures in a standard called 3.5 ( see below), which results in a large life sized caricature of a person in the style of pop art and low brow art.
