ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Entry agreed to by this year’s Biology teacher or the Head of Science based on results in Biology Level 2.

COURSE CONTENT:

This subject covers molecular biology, genetics, evolution, biotechnology, human evolution, plant and animal behaviour, a major plant or animal study and research on a contemporary biological issue.

HOW IS IT ASSESSED?

A combination of internally and externally assessed achievement and unit standards totalling at least 24 credits are offered.

WHERE DOES IT LEAD?

Tertiary study and many Science related career options.
