ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Entry agreed to by this year’s Science teacher or the Head of Science.

COURSE CONTENT:

This course is set by the national Level 7 Physics curriculum. Topics covered include mechanics,

electricity, electromagnetism, light and waves, atomic and nuclear physics.

HOW IS IT ASSESSED?

A combination of internally and externally assessed achievement and unit standards totalling at least 24 credits. The practical skills are internally assessed.

WHERE DOES IT LEAD?

Level 3 Physics. You must do Level 2 if you want to do Level 3 Physics.
