Lesson 2: Food for Thought!
​​Lesson 2 Learning Objectives
By the end of this lesson:

-Students will have an understanding of the food prymaid.
-Students will be able to identify the different food groups
Open your healthly eating presentations or Google docs put today's lesson  heading Food for thought Read through the power point 
 Draw/cope and paste the food prymaid into your work
Makes notes about each of the different food groups with examples 
Take out the food you have brought to school today, does it cover all the food groups. Draw up a table ( breakfast/snacks/lunch/dinner) over the next week record what foods you are eating. Does it cover all the food groups why or why not?
In pairs discuss our school canteen, what food do they offer, is it nutritious? Does it meet all the food groups? How could we improve it.
