Junior Activity Week 

Loss, Change and Support

​Activity One

​Find a group of 5.
Share a google doc between your group and complete the following questions:

1. Brainstorm what is loss? - give examples
2. Brainstorm what is change? - give examples
3. List some situations and times of loss and change
4. Can loss and change be experienced at the same time? Explain your answer.

Be prepared to share your doc back to the class.

Activity Two

A shared google doc will be sent to all members of class. On it you will need to add ideas about

a. How you support yourself in times of change/loss
b. How you support others in times of change/loss

Activity Three

"Johnny is 14 and has just moved from the city to a small rural town. He has just started at a new school where he knows nobody and is incredibly worried about his first few days. You live down the same street as Johnny and have talked to him a few times."

Design a 'support card' for young Johnny. This should explain to him how he can support himself during this time of change, and how other people around him could help.

Remember to share your support card with your teacher!
