Introduction
Body structure and function is how the human body works in relation to physical activity. In year 11 Physical Education this includes functional anatomy, biomechanics, and physiological responses to exercise 

The Skeletal System
The skeletal system is made up of 206 bones and gives the human body its structure and provides a framework from which movement can happen. The skeleton plans an important role in protecting internal organs and supplying nutrients.

Specific Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this student will be able to:

  • Identify the main bones in the body
  • Describe the characteristics of each bone and put into a category
