Junior Activity Week 

Vocational science is a course based on practical science and is ideal for those students interested in a non-academic career in science such as primary industries. The course offers 18 credits and is purely internally assessed.

Vocational science course

91160 - Investigate biological material at the microscopic level. 3 credits.
91162 - Carry out procedures to identify ions present in solution. 3 credits.
91187 - Carry out a practical earth and space science investigation. 4 credits.
91190 - Investigate how organisms survive in an extreme environment. 4 credits (literacy).
91188 - Examine an earth and space science issue and the validity of the information communicated to the public. 4 credits (literacy).

If time permits:

91192 - Demonstrate understanding of stars and planetary systems. 4 credits (literacy).
