Junior Activity Week 
Rowing at Horowhenua College started at the end of Term 3 (2009) in the holidays and runs for 2 terms ending at the end of March (2010) with Maadi Cup (Secondary School Nationals)
The Horowhenua Rowing Club is situated at the Horowhenua Lake Domain. Training takes place on Lake Horowhenua and the Manawatu River.

Regattas attended include various club and school regattas at Levin, Wanganui, Wellington, Hawkes Bay, Karapiro and Lake Ruataniwha (Twizel).

School rowers with titles this season (2009 - 2010) include Joshua Royal - youth single scull title and trophy; senior coxless quadruple scull title at Lower North Island Champs. Congratulations Joshua!
